Hi, I’m Sara, a contemporary abstract artist and creative director based in Portland, Oregon. After graduating with a degree in photography, I spent over a decade working in branding and marketing before prioritizing my passion for painting.

Working in subtle variations of color and reflections of light evocative of the natural world, my work is soulful, contemplative, and reflective of the rainy Pacific Northwest I call home.

An allegory of emotion and atmosphere, my pieces explore the intersection of contemporary art and ancient ritual - using art as a pathway to bring the ancient history we as humans hold within our bones and our spirits into the present era.

My work can be found in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia.
